My greatest concern is whether someone will be able to help should the pain increase to intolerable levels, for example, at the weekends. I am not certain this is the case and it is a worry for me: this worry is partly fueled by the experience that on running low of morphine at the weekend, contracting the service through the telephone number I was given produced no results (I obtained extra morphine through another channel).

I dont think you can improve your service. I was very happy, you couldn't have been any better than you were.

My husband is ok. at the moment and I and my family are coping with his care so I have no had the need to call on the palliative nurses. My experience of the st davids contact has been excellent and the office is my first call whenever I have a problem.I have regular visits from the district nurses who monitor my husbands well being.

The care and attention I have received from the staff in Preyll Charles Hospital McMillan unit has been ecellent. A;l the staff are caring and very helpful.
